The New York State Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Nurses Association (NYSMRDDNA) was founded to promote Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities Nursing as a specialty area of practice. The Association continues to support its members' activities in nursing law, education, research and practice.

Scholarship winner 2007 -The winner of the newly established NYSMRDDNA scholarship to promote nursing in the MR/DD field is Radiant Smalls, LPN and Habiebbah Benton.

Updates:

Time change on the Pre-Conference TrolleyTour to 12:30 pm to 3:15 pm to allow participants to return in time for Pre-Conference #2, Osteoporosis. Registration Form

M8 – Movement Disorders: Dr. Molho will speak about Parkinson’s Disease, including pathology, clinical features, and treatment.

T2 – Dietary Modifications: Dr. Bock will discuss the 4-A Disorders (Autism, Allergies, ADHD, Asthma), possible etiologies and a multifaceted integrative medicine healing program

Reminder: Friday, September 13, is the registration deadline.

Don’t forget to book your hotel room by Friday to receive the conference rate.

There are errors in the program that occurred with printing – the times for the Monday afternoon sessions shifted. M9 - Constipation, is one of the concurrent sessions from 2:45-4:00 pm. Dr. Wetzel’s DQA Update is 4:15-5:30 pm and FLAME is 8:30-11:00 pm
